Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking an Operations Manager in Sheffield to drive excellent store execution and embed routines that improve availability, reduce waste and manage shrink. You will coach senior managers to uphold high standards across Ambient, Fresh, George and GM departments in a large-format store.

You will lead with heart, develop teams, and apply a data-driven approach to optimize processes, support wage control, and ensure compliant, customer-focused operations.

Qualifications

• Execution and results-focused with a track record of delivering on time.
• Commercially aware with ability to improve availability, reduce waste and shrink.
• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, large-format retail environment.
• Strong coaching and development mindset for store teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent execution across the store and embed consistent routines that deliver availability, waste and shrink.
• Lead and coach managers to maintain high store standards across Ambient and Fresh departments as well as George and General Merchandising.
• Review store processes to deliver strong metrics and KRAs for availability, waste and shrink by embedding routine and process across the shop floor.
