Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Nottingham is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager - Convenience to lead a busy local store, drive exceptional customer service and ensure smooth daily operations. You’ll manage a small team, oversee day-to-day activities, handle performance and scheduling, and sometimes support nearby stores.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Provides brilliant customer service, and coaches a team to do the same.
• Demonstrated experience delivering KPIs and handling employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Work with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs smoothly daily.
• Take responsibility for day-to-day store operations, often as sole manager with accountability for the full shop.
• Work with a team to serve customers efficiently and safely.
• Manage performance, capability, scheduling, and disciplinaries.
• Be prepared to assist other nearby stores as needed.
