Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Banbury is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager for the Convenience format. You will share responsibility with a small team to run the store day-to-day, ensuring availability, service, safety and efficient operations while leading and coaching staff.

The role includes people management, KPI delivery and occasional support for other local stores. The salary starts at £31,700 and benefits include a discount card, annual bonus, free food and drinks, pension

Qualifications

Previous line management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
Delivers excellent customer service and coaches the team to do the same.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs and managing employee relations.

Responsibilities

Work with a small management team to run the store smoothly every day.
Take responsibility for daily operations, often sole manager in charge.
Lead a team to ensure customers are served efficiently and safely.
Manage performance and scheduling, including disciplinaries and payroll accuracy.
Occasionally support nearby stores with cover as needed.
