Job summary

Asda Ellesmere Port is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead store execution, drive availability, reduce waste and contain shrink across Ambient, Fresh, George and General Merchandising in our large format store. You will set high standards for customer service, manage daily routines, and coach teams to perform with pace and accuracy.

You’ll review store processes, implement efficient workflows, and embed contractual base management while monitoring KPIs.

Qualifications

Experience managing diverse teams in a large-format retail environment.
Strong operational knowledge across food and non-food departments.
Proven track record of improving availability, reducing waste and managing shrink.
Experience managing ER cases and understanding HR policies and processes.
Excellent organisational skills and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

Lead store-wide operations to ensure availability and strong customer experience.
Embed routines to deliver metrics for availability, waste and shrink.
Coach and develop store managers and teams to maintain high standards.
Manage promotional activity, plan effectively and ensure on-time briefs.
Collaborate across departments to deliver a seamless shopping experience.
