Job summary

Argos Shift Managers are responsible for managing shifts within our Argos stores, inspiring and motivating teams and being the go-to people for on-the-job support. They coach colleagues to ensure customers receive brilliant experiences while working with the team on the shop floor.

They may lead the full store operation in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring resources are allocated to daily tasks such as organising the warehouse, taking deliveries and serving customers.

Qualifications

• Experience organising, running and planning a fast-paced operation.
• Ability to direct a team and coach colleagues on the shop floor.
• Experience keeping a store safe and compliant.
• Strong commercial awareness to understand customers and drive sales.
• History of delivering KPIs and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts within Argos stores and lead on-the-job support.
• Coach and motivate colleagues to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and operate in their absence to keep store running smoothly.
• Organise warehouse, manage deliveries and serve customers during shifts.
• Drive sales and profitability through effective product knowledge and customer focus.
