Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an Argos Shift Manager to lead store shifts, coach colleagues and support day‑to‑day operations across the shop floor and warehouse. You’ll be the go‑to person for on‑the‑job support and ensuring excellent customer experiences.

In this role you’ll help drive sales, monitor KPIs, and act as a role model for service and store values. You’ll also step in for the Store Manager when needed, delivering efficient, safe store operations.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering brilliant customer service.
• Experience motivating others and driving sales.
• Able to coach colleagues and provide on‑the‑spot guidance.
• Operational leadership in the absence of management.
• Proven success meeting KPIs across sales, availability or customer satisfaction.
• Walk the talk and be a role model for service and values.

Responsibilities

• Lead store shifts and motivate teams to deliver great experiences.
• Coach colleagues to provide on‑the‑job support and guidance.
• Ensure safe, compliant store operations and store standards.
• Assist in day‑to‑day store tasks when Store Manager is absent.
• Organise warehouse, deliveries and customer service on the shop floor.
