Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Fareham is seeking an Argos Shift Manager to lead shift operations, coach staff, and ensure delivery of great customer experiences. You may step in for the Store Manager to keep day-to-day tasks running smoothly on the shop floor and in the warehouse.

The role focuses on leading teams, maintaining safety/compliance, and driving sales through strong commercial awareness and coaching. A customer‑facing, fast‑paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Has experience of organising, running, and planning for a fast-paced operation.
• Comfortable directing a team, providing day-to-day coaching and on-the-spot guidance to support delivery of brilliant experiences.
• Supports Store Manager to ensure the store is safe and compliant.
• Demonstrates strong commercial awareness to understand customers and drive sales.
• Can work towards and deliver KPIs with the aim of driving profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Organise the warehouse, take deliveries and serve customers on the shop floor.
• Coach colleagues to deliver brilliant customer service and meet KPIs.
