Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an Argos Shift Manager to lead store shifts, coach staff, and support the Store Manager in daily operations. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and manage activities from stock, deliveries to customer service on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates will have a track record of motivating teams, driving sales, and maintaining high standards of operation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.
• Experience directing a team and providing day-to-day coaching for delivery of great customer experiences.
• Ability to support Store Manager and lead store operations in their absence.
• Strong commercial awareness and product knowledge to drive sales.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs such as sales, availability, customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Organise, run and plan for a fast-paced operation.
• Direct a team with on-the-spot guidance to deliver brilliant experiences for customers and colleagues.
• Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and allocate resources for daily tasks.
• Drive profitability by achieving KPIs and using commercial awareness to understand customers.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards across the store.
