Job summary

Argos is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to oversee store shifts, inspiring and coaching teams while delivering excellent customer service. You will lead the shop floor, coordinate deliveries, and ensure the store runs smoothly in the Store Manager's absence.

The role focuses on driving sales and profitability through strong product knowledge and commercial awareness, with an emphasis on safety, KPI achievement, and colleague development.

Qualifications

• Experience of organising, running, and planning for a fast-paced operation.
• Comfortable directing a team, providing day-to-day coaching and on-the-spot guidance.
• Support the Store Manager in ensuring the store is safe and compliant.
• Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and product knowledge to drive sales and profitability.
• Able to meet KPIs and drive profitability while delivering great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to person for on-the-job support and coaching.
