Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring a Costa Manager to lead daily operations of a Costa outlet in the UK, for 40 hours per week. You will step up to support the General Manager and ensure smooth service and a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

You will delegate tasks, manage team performance, control waste, and act as a decision-maker in GM absence. The role rewards initiative, reliability and a safety-first mindset, with a focus on delivering outstanding coffee experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure seamless execution of business goals.
• To ensure waste is kept to a minimum during beverage production
• To delegate where necessary and ensure the team are pro-active at all times
• In the absence of the General Manager assist in the completion of weekly bookwork and any other duties that are deemed necessary
• Act as the main point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the General Manager.
• Be pro-active at all times and use initiative, diplomacy and discretion to solve any problems that may arise
