Job summary

Compass Group UK’s Costa brand is seeking a motivated Costa Manager to lead daily store operations and step in for the General Manager when required. You will guide a team to deliver exceptional coffee experiences, manage resources efficiently, and maintain a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, strong communication, and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure seamless execution of business goals.
• To ensure waste is kept to a minimum during beverage production.
• To delegate where necessary and ensure the team are pro-active at all times.
• In the absence of the General Manager assist in the completion of weekly bookwork and any other duties deemed necessary.
• Act as the main point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the General Manager.
