STORE MANAGER - MAX MARA CORNER @DEPARTMENT STORES LONDON

Max Mara is seeking a Store Manager for our corner within prestigious department stores in London.

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven professional with solid experience as a Store Manager in department stores or within structured and international retail organizations, ideally in the fashion and/or luxury retail sector. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills, a passion for fashion, and a sharp customer focus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Oversee all daily operations of the Max Mara corner, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  2. Implement visual merchandising guidelines and optimize product presentation to drive sales and reflect the Max Mara brand standards.
  3. Build lasting relationships with clients, providing personalized styling advice and tailored service.
  4. Monitor sales performance and KPIs, proposing commercial actions to achieve the store's targets.
  5. Act as the main point of contact between the corner and central corporate departments (Retail, Buying, Visual Merchandising, etc.).
  6. Lead, coach, and motivate the store team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  7. Manage staffing needs, including scheduling, holidays, training, conflict resolution, and team development.
  8. Uphold Max Mara's brand values, ensuring a consistently high level of service and presentation.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
  1. Passion for fashion and the luxury industry, with a strong understanding of department store dynamics.
  2. Proven leadership and team management experience.
  3. Previous experience within a department store is highly desirable.
  4. Proficient in using digital tools and technology to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  5. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
  6. Ability to manage and develop teams effectively, while maintaining a collaborative spirit.
  7. Fluency in English is essential; Italian is a plus.
  8. Flexible, motivated, and goal-oriented with a drive for success.
