Job summary

Safestore Holdings PLC is seeking a Store Manager in Birmingham Yardley to lead a store team and drive sales while delivering excellent customer service. You will coach staff, manage daily operations, and ensure high standards of store presentation and safety.

The role requires at least 2 years in a management position in retail or similar, with a focus on performance, leadership, and customer relationships. A robust bonus opportunity and structured development program are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role, ideally in a customer-facing retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead a team and coach for performance.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen and ability to drive store performance (P&L).

Responsibilities

• Achieve targets by understanding customer needs and advising on best solutions from enquiry to move-in.
• Lead and develop the store team through coaching and feedback.
• Maximise customer experience with exceptional service.
• Manage store standards including Health and Safety and overall store operations.
