Job summary

Safestore Holdings PLC is seeking a Store Manager for Birmingham Yardley. You will lead a team in a busy retail storage environment, driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring store standards.

The role offers a structured management programme and performance-based bonus, with a comprehensive benefits package. You will report to Regional Managers and work to maximise store performance while maintaining safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role in retail or customer-facing environment.
Ability to lead and coach a team.
Strong communication and relationships with stakeholders.
Commercial acumen and driving store performance.

Responsibilities

Sales: Achieve targets by understanding customer requirements and advising on best solution from enquiry through to move in, driving store performance (P&L).
People: Lead and motivate the store team through coaching and feedback to enhance performance.
Customer service: Maximise customer experience with exceptional service.
Store Standards: Manage store responsibilities including Health and Safety and maintain high standards.
