Job summary

Safestore seeks a Store Manager in St Albans to lead a store team, drive sales and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will manage performance, coach staff, and ensure excellent service while maintaining high store standards with a focus on growth and bonus targets.

The role is permanent full-time (40 hours/week) in Region 9, offering a structured development programme, a performance bonus and a pension scheme alongside health care benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role.
• Leadership and coaching of the store team.
• Strong focus on customer service and selling.
• Able to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to meet sales targets and deliver excellent service.
• Oversee store standards, Health and Safety and daily operations.
• Manage day-to-day store performance (P&L) and staff rota/planning.
• Maintain strong customer experiences and store presentation.
