Job summary

Pet Family Limited is seeking a Store Manager for our Pets Corner store in Blandford forum. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week across 5 out of 7 days, with a strong emphasis on customer service and operational leadership.

You will lead a small team, drive sales through product knowledge, and ensure store standards, stock control and visual merchandising are maintained to the highest level. Training and development are provided within our family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exceptional customer service and leading a team
• Ability to train and develop staff using structured curriculum
• Strong eye for store presentation, pricing, and promotions
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and improving store performance
• Willingness to work every 5 out of 7 days and handle stock control tasks

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional customer service and going the extra mile for customers
• Recommending products to meet customer needs and maximise sales
• Leading and developing the store team with hands-on coaching
• Maintaining store standards, merchandising, pricing and promotions
• Managing inventory, deliveries, stock takes and stock losses
