Job summary

Morrisons is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a busy retail store with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will oversee the team, drive customer service excellence and manage day-to-day operations to deliver strong store performance.

You will recruit, onboard and develop staff, build a positive, inclusive culture and foster community engagement while ensuring the store meets the needs of customers and the business across early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in retail or service environment.
• Strong people development and recruitment skills.
• Proven ability to improve store performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to create a customer-centric culture in line with the Morrisons brand.
• Continuously challenge and implement new ways to serve customers better.
• Drive the store's commercial performance and treat it as a local business.
• Oversee people activities including recruitment, induction, training and development, building an inclusive culture.
• Build and maintain relationships with the local community and stakeholders.
