Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking a flexible, customer-focused Store Manager Designate to support multiple stores in the Newbury region. You will lead by example, drive KPIs, and ensure operational excellence while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

You will manage people, nurture talent, and contribute to business plans and budgets. This role requires a current driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven management experience in a comparable retail role.
• Proven track record of delivering sales targets and managing budgets.
• Strong understanding of retail operations including sales, stock control and customer service.
• Skilled in problem solving and decision making under pressure.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to analyse sales trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate and engage colleagues.
• Flexible and adaptable with a commitment to continuous improvement and team development.

Responsabilités

• Work with Store Managers to deliver business plans focused on growth and commercial success.
• Assist in driving KPI results across stores and engage teams to achieve targets.
• Support stock control, seasonal promotions and merchandising to maximise sales opportunities.
• Coach and develop colleagues to build strong succession plans for the future.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training to maintain compliance and nurture talent.
• Help organise daily operations and manage store security.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and company procedures.
