Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited is hiring a Store-Based Business Development Manager in Frome to work with agricultural customers and grow profitability through tailored solutions.

This permanent full-time role covers a 37.5-hour week (Mon-Fri). You will own your store territory, promote the full range of products and services, and build long-term relationships with customers and local communities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of achieving sales and margin targets.
• Experience in a customer-focused sales environment.
• Strong understanding of UK agriculture or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication, literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed individual and regional sales targets.
• Grow and maintain 800–1200 active customers.
• Promote full product and service range confidently.
• Manage CRM updates, call cycles, and business plans.
• Engage with local agricultural communities via markets and events.
• Ensure health, safety and industry standards compliance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver joined-up solutions.
