Mencap is seeking a Store Manager for the Claygate store on a 37.5 hour contract. You will lead an inclusive team of paid staff and volunteers, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to safeguarding and health & safety standards. The role involves travel to other M5 stores as required and managing store budgets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fashion retail, strong leadership skills and a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.

• Drive store sales to meet budgets and KPIs.
• Lead an inclusive team of paid staff and volunteers through training and reviews.
• Ensure stock is merchandised, rotated daily, and donor gifts are processed (Gift Aid).
• Maintain high standards of customer service in line with organisational expectations.
• Oversee financials, cash handling, security, safeguarding and health & safety.
