The Works Stores Ltd. is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead a busy Leicester store, drive commercial performance and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

You’ll manage people, standards, and service, while owning day-to-day operations and stock control to keep the store welcoming and well-run. As Brand Ambassadors, you’ll inspire a high-performing team, use data to set and reach targets, and collaborate with regional managers to implement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management role.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Commercially focused with a track record of delivering results.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational abilities.
• Comfortable using data to inform decisions and improve performance.
• Experience managing recruitment, training, and performance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop your team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve store targets.
• Take ownership of store performance using data and insights.
• Ensure high standards of visual merchandising, stock availability, and store presentation.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
• Manage rotas, payroll, and day-to-day operations.
• Maintain health & safety, cash handling, and loss prevention policies.
• Collaborate with Area Manager and central teams to implement initiatives.
