Job summary

Heart of England Co-operative Society's Southam store is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a dynamic team, drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service in a community-focused setting.

You'll recruit, train and develop staff, manage stock and costs, ensure food safety standards and build strong links with local customers and members, while enjoying a competitive starting salary and a range of colleague benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team; food retail experience desirable.
• Proven ability to motivate and develop colleagues.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost management experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Hands-on approach with a passion for customer service.
• Solid IT skills including MS Office/Teams.

About the Role

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success of your store.You'll:

This is a varied, hands-on leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact every day.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems and delivering results.You'll ideally have:

• Experience managing or supervising within a retail environment, ideally food retail.
• A proven ability to motivate and develop colleagues.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing costs and performance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A hands-on approach with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams.

A full UK driving licence is desirable.
