Job summary

Heart of England Co-operative Society in Coventry is seeking a Store Manager to lead a busy retail store. You’ll guide and develop a high-performing team, drive sales, manage costs and ensure outstanding customer service every day.

You’ll recruit, train and motivate colleagues, maintain merchandising standards, food safety and compliance, and build strong links with the local community while promoting Society membership.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising within a retail environment (ideally food retail).
• Proven ability to motivate and develop colleagues.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing costs and performance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Hands-on approach with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
