Job summary

Southern Co-op is seeking a Store Manager to take full ownership of a busy store, drive performance, lead a talented team and deliver great service to customers every day. You’ll shape the store plan, ensure safety and compliance, and help the business grow.

You’ll inspire service excellence, spot opportunities to improve, and develop future leaders while building strong ties with the local community. This is a hands-on, fast-paced leadership role in retail.

Qualifications

• Management experience in food retail or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and a sharp eye for business planning.
• A passion for delivering standout customer service.
• Confident communicator who can influence and inspire at every level.
• Personal Licence Holder—or willing to get one within 16 weeks.
• A growth mindset with a drive to develop and improve.
• A full UK Driving Licence is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker.
