Boots is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a store team, balance people, performance and operations, and own day-to-day store performance. You’ll coach staff, drive customer care and ensure compliant, safe, efficient operations.

You’ll develop your team, optimise rota planning and leverage data to improve outcomes, with opportunities to progress into broader leadership roles within Boots.

Qualificações

• Experience leading a team in a customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to drive performance and deliver results.
• Inspire and coach others, and manage performance.
• Strong organisational skills including rotas, absence and workload planning.
• Clear understanding of compliance, safety and operational standards.
• Collaborative, team-centered approach.
• Confidence using systems, reports and data to inform decisions.
• Passion for customer care and commercial outcomes.
• Experience line managing (bonus) & store operations (stock, audits) is desirable.
• Willingness to work towards a Pharmacy qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day store operations including planning, scheduling, staffing and prioritising workload.
• Maintain high store standards: cleanliness, safety and ease of shopping.
• Take ownership of stock availability, cost control and loss prevention.
• Ensure legal and compliant operations by audits, checks and risk assessments.
• Use data and in-store insights to identify opportunities and act.
• Lead the store confidently in the absence of the Store Leader and make accountable decisions.
