Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the retail store and ensure smooth running of all activities.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail staff.
• Recruit, train, and support employees to maintain high performance standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving store targets and KPIs.
• Manage stock levels, deliveries, replenishment, stock checks, and inventory control.
• Ensure the store is clean, organised, well-presented, and compliant with company standards.
• Manage staff rotas, attendance, holidays, and daily workloads.
• Monitor cash handling, banking procedures, and daily financial controls.
• Implement company promotions, merchandising standards, and marketing initiatives.
• Monitor operating costs and help maximise store profitability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Prepare sales and performance reports for senior management.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Deal with operational issues quickly and effectively.
