Job summary

ASICS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Greater London to support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and delivering brand-standard customer service, product presentation and merchandising.

You will lead Sales Associates, act as a keyholder with opening/closing duties, and play a pivotal role in cash handling, merchandising execution, and driving exceptional shopper experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience, working in a retail environment.
• Must have or be pursuing a High School diploma or GED.
• Able to effectively communicate in English (both written and verbal).
• Able to perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in meeting or exceeding store sales targets.
• Lead staff to achieve financial, customer service and merchandising standards through product, people and service planning.
• Act as a keyholder, and share in opening and closing responsibilities of the store.
• Lead by example in effectively building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Lead by example in the execution of operational procedures, tasks and processes.
• Ensure all cash handling is accurate, while facilitating a superior checkout experience.
• Support and offer guidance to staff within the store, focused on the delivery of the required standards of (visual) merchandising, presentation and promotional activity.
• Recognize product flow opportunities and partner with management and Associates on process improvements.
• Manage back of house operations and share in the cleaning duties of the store where required.
• Partner with management to ensure that all visual and merchandising directives, promotions and markdowns are completed within a timely manner.
