Sainsbury's is seeking an experienced Food Store Manager to lead our busy Tonbridge store and drive daily operations with a hands-on, customer-focused approach. You will coach teams, manage performance, and deliver KPI targets across sales, availability and service while upholding safety standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a high-volume, customer-facing retail environment.
• Strong coaching and development of team members.
• Track record of delivering KPIs across sales, availability and service.
• Experience managing performance, scheduling, and wage/policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes whilst bringing passion for shopkeeping and customer service.
• Ensure every customer gets the food they want when they shop with us to help ensure we are the first choice for food.
• People management is a big part of the role, including performance, absence, disciplinary matters and scheduling.
