Job summary

Dunelm in Newtownabbey is seeking a Merchandising Supervisor to lead visual merchandising on the shop floor. You’ll transform shelves, displays and corners into engaging experiences that drive delight and sales, while guiding a small team of merchandisers.

You’ll coach staff, maintain high standards, and ensure the store presents its products at their best. This hands-on role rewards energy, initiative and customer-focused leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in retail or hospitality.
• Strong customer service skills and a customer-first approach.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop a small team.

Responsibilities

• Promote upselling and coach the team to boost basket sizes.
• Deliver exceptional service to sustain high CSAT scores.
• Maintain high energy, build team spirit and celebrate wins.
• Plan daily activities so the team knows what matters.
• Support store succession planning and wellbeing conversations.
• Assist in implementing Leadership Engagement plans.
• Take ownership and guide the team through daily operations.
• Work on the shop floor daily with Store Coach to spot wins and fix snags.
• Grow the team by mentoring tomorrow's leaders.
