Job summary

Dunelm Newtownabbey is seeking a Deputy Manager (Customer Experience Coach) to lead stock processes and commercial activity, stepping in for the Store Coach in their absence.

You will drive store performance through effective merchandising, campaigns, pricing, and a strong focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience. The role leads a team of about 30 colleagues and three Team Leaders, fostering a positive culture and high engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in retail setting with a hands-on approach
• Flexible part-time days (Mon, Fri, Sat or Sun) are acceptable
• Proven ability to drive business performance and exceed KPIs
• Passion for stock management and product availability
• Commitment to delivering an unrivalled customer shopping experience
• Team-oriented with strong communication and engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Trade the store to drive strong sales growth through weekly merchandising and timely campaigns
• Ensure customers have a great shopping experience with updated POS and pricing
• Embed stock routines to maintain high stock integrity and efficient warehouse procedures
• Lead by example to create a positive culture and high-performing teams
• Directly manage a team of ~30 colleagues and 3 Team Leaders
• Assist the Store Coach and run the store in their absence
