Job summary

ASDA is seeking a Customer Manager to lead the store’s service and day-to-day operations in Workington. You’ll be the primary ambassador for the Asda experience, guiding Back Office, Security and Cleaning Teams while ensuring customers are delighted from car park to checkout.

You will lead a team on shifts, drive customer-facing excellence, coach staff, handle feedback and liaise with partners to maintain high standards and great availability.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager in a retail environment.
• Strong focus on customer service and frontline operations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead store service and front/back of house teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Drive strategy and daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring availability and standards across departments.
• Coach and develop store colleagues, promote a selling culture with pride and show resilience in daily tasks.
