JD Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Manager for a JD Sports store. You will support the Store Manager, drive results, develop talent, and elevate the customer experience to uphold the premium JD standard every day.

You'll lead on-store operations, coach teammates, analyse KPI data, and ensure high standards in presentation, pricing, stock, and safety while delivering strong sales performance.

Qualifikationen

• Previous retail management or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret KPI and sales data to drive decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues.
• Proven success in achieving KPI targets in a retail environment.

Aufgaben

• Support Store Manager with daily store operations to help achieve sales targets and core KPIs.
• Lead and guide colleagues on the shop floor, allocate tasks, support service delivery, and maintain JD standards.
• Coach and develop staff with real-time feedback and reinforce expectations set by the Store Manager.
• Maintain JD's high presentation and operational standards, including pricing accuracy, displays, and a safe environment.
• Carry out core operational duties such as cash handling, till checks, deliveries, stock audits, and opening/closing routines.
