Job summary

schuh in Manchester Trafford Centre is hiring a Temporary Stockroom Assistant for 15 hours across 3 days. You will handle deliveries, stockroom upkeep, and in-store order processing while delivering excellent customer service with strong product knowledge.

Experience isn’t essential as full training is provided. The role offers flexible hours, store discounts, and potential benefits through the company. Hourly rates will align with the national minimum wage for your age.

Responsibilities

• Process deliveries and ensure new products are available to customers.
• Maintain high stockroom standards.

• Process payments and reservations.
• Stock management and merchandising on the shop floor.
• Assist with opening/shutdown procedures.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary 15hr Stockroom Assistant to join our store in Manchester Trafford Centre.

Candidates will be working 15 hours across 3 days and must have flexible availability across the week.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing

• Processing new deliveries and ensuring our exciting new product is available for customers
• Maintaining the highest standards possible in the stockroom
• Dispatching customer orders from store and managing in store click and collect items
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Process payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures

Requirements / Qualifications

• Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
