Job summary

schuh in the United Kingdom is seeking part-time temporary sales assistants for the festive period. You will greet customers, provide product knowledge and process payments, orders and reservations. You will support stock, merchandising and maintain high shop standards; training provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
• Availability including at least one weekend day and one weekday.

• Deliver the highest level of customer service, greeting customers and providing in-depth product knowledge.
• Strive to meet KPIs and personal targets.
• Process payments, customer orders and reservations.
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising.
• Maintain high standards on shop floor and in back areas.
• Assist with opening and shutdown procedures.

Job description

We are looking for part time temporary sales assistants to join our team over the festive period! We need ideally a mix of weekday and weekend availability ( at least 1 weekend day and 1 day through the week minimum)

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing -

Deliver ing the highest level of customer service possible , greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge

S triving to meet KPIs and personal targets

Process ing payments, customer orders and reservations

Stock management and shop floor merchandising

Maintai ni n g high standards both on shop floor and in back areas

Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures

Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/ or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
