Job summary

schuh Lakeside is hiring a Stockroom Assistant for a 20-hour/week contract with four days availability and flexible weekends. The role is temporary with a potential to go permanent, offering training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Hourly pay will align with national minimum wage levels for your age. You will handle deliveries, stockroom standards, order dispatch, in-store click and collect, and customer service duties while working toward KPI targets and building product knowledge for

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stockroom Assistant to join our Kids store in Lakeside.

Successful candidates will be contracted to 20 hours and must be available 4 days per week as well as having flexible weekend availability.

Please note, this is a temporary position with the potential to be made permanent.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing –

• Processing new deliveries and ensuring our exciting new product is available for customers
• Maintaining the highest standards possible in the stockroom
• Dispatching customer orders from store and managing in store click and collect items
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures
• Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/ or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
