Job summary

Poundland & Dealz in Harlow is seeking a Retail Stock Controller Clerk to keep stock accurate and moving through the distribution centre. You will monitor stock levels, record movements and work with warehouse teams to ensure correct receipt, storage and dispatch.

You will perform regular stock and cycle counts, update stock systems, investigate variances and help optimise stock location and rotation. Strong numeracy, IT skills and attention to detail are essential, with experience in WMS and

Qualifications

Experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse administration or logistics environments.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and stock control software is essential.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel and data accuracy are required.

Responsibilities

Monitor stock levels and track stock movements to maintain real-time accuracy.
Carry out stock checks and cycle counts, investigate and resolve variances.
Update stock records in our systems and coordinate with Warehouse/Logistics teams.
Produce stock reports and monitor shortages and usage to identify discrepancies.
Support audit/compliance activities and contribute to continuous improvement.
