Job summary

Equals One Ltd in Hull is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to maintain accurate stock records, take ownership of regular cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to ensure figures add up.

Based at our Hull Head Office, the role involves working with the warehouse and operations teams, flexible hours Monday to Friday 7.00am–4.00pm, plus one Saturday every three from 8.00am–12.00pm; pay is £14.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous stock control and stock-count experience.
• Ability to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Good numerical skills and high accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Experience with inventory systems benefits.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular cycle counts and stock checks.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and identify potential causes.
• Ensure stock adjustments and corrections are recorded accurately.
• Support planning and execution of the annual stock count.
• Carry out second checks to ensure correct goods and quantities are dispatched.
• Maintain accurate information on stock-control systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve stock and order discrepancies.
