Job summary

Equals One Ltd is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our Hull team. You will manage regular cycle counts, investigate stock discrepancies, and ensure accurate stock records across the warehouse and systems.

The role involves working with the operations team, maintaining data integrity, and supporting the annual stock count. Previous Dynamics 365 experience is advantageous and you will be part of a busy distribution environment.

• Experience in stock control or inventory control.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and explain variances.
• High accuracy and numerical proficiency required.

• Experience with cycle-count activity and stock checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain stock records.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and identify causes.
• Monitor stock accuracy and flag recurring issues.
• Record stock adjustments and corrections accurately.
• Support annual stock count planning and reconciliation.
• Check orders and ensure correct items/quantities dispatched.
• Maintain stock-control data in systems and reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve stock/order discrepancies.
• Suggest improvements to stock-control processes.
