Job summary

Red Recruitment Group Ltd in Kidderminster is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory control. You will support day-to-day operations and work closely with purchasing and production teams.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with an early finish on Fridays, and offers hourly pay of £14.00–£14.50 depending on experience. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Stock Controller is essential.
• Counterbalance FLT licence is required.
• Computer literate with basic IT skills.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with industrial equipment/manufacturing environments is a plus.

Stock Controller - Kidderminster

We are seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our client in Kidderminster. You will play a key role in managing stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular stock checks
• Using computer system to book in deliveries and manage dispatches
• Ensure correct storage, handling, and labelling of products
• Liaise with the purchasing and production teams to maintain optimum stock levels
• Identify discrepancies and resolve stock issues promptly
• Maintain a clean, organised stock area in line with company standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Stock Controller is essential
• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Computer literate
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of industrial equipment or manufacturing environments is an advantage (preferred but not essential)

Hours and Pay:

• Monday - Friday.
• 8am - 4:30pm, early finish on a Friday.
