Job summary

Pets Choice Ltd is seeking a Stock Controller to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock availability across packaging and raw materials. You will support production, customer service and efficiency by managing stock integrity and reporting discrepancies.

Working with Procurement, Planning, Production and Warehouse, you will monitor stock movements, run regular cycle counts and provide insights to optimize stock levels and working capital in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or related industries.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing capability.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and handling agreements.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Understanding of supply chain principles.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records across Packaging and Raw Material categories.
• Monitor stock levels vs forecast and flag shortages or excesses.
• Support stock optimisation to balance service levels and investment.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile stock records.
• Produce regular stock reports and monitor KPIs.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams.
• Identify process improvements to reduce waste and improve accuracy.
