Job summary

LWC Drinks Ltd in Aylesbury is seeking a Stock Controller to manage stock ordering for the site, ensuring stock levels meet changing demands and seasonality. You will oversee goods-in accuracy, matching deliveries to POs and invoices, and minimising write-offs to protect stock integrity.

You will also investigate discrepancies, losses and damages, and work with the Distribution Manager to implement best-practice processes, ensuring efficient warehousing operations at the depot.

Qualifications

• Ordering stock to satisfy customer demand while keeping stock levels within company standards.
• Accurate goods in checking, delivery notes vs POs, and timely supplier queries.
• Matching deliveries against invoices and querying any overcharges.
• Minimising obsolete stock and providing data to improve stock control.
• Investigating discrepancies, losses and damages, and reporting them.
• Continuous review of methods to implement best practice and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Order stock to meet customer demand, including Grey market, while maintaining stock levels.
• Ensure goods-in accuracy and check deliveries against POs and invoices.
• Compare deliveries with invoices and investigate any overcharges.
• Minimise obsolete stock through data analysis and reporting.
• Investigate discrepancies, losses and damages, and document findings.
• Review processes to implement best-practice stock control methods.
• Collaborate with Distribution Manager to implement improvements and ensure stock integrity.
