Job summary

C&C Group Plc is recruiting a Load Planner to coordinate deliveries across the region and manage a sizeable fleet of drivers in a busy distribution depot. The role focuses on planning, performance monitoring and adherence to SOPs to ensure efficient service for thousands of venues.

You’ll need distribution experience, familiarity with transport office operations, stock control know‑how and knowledge of Optrak. A proactive mindset and strong people skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in Distribution, ideally in a Transport Office.
• Knowledge of stock control systems and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with Optrak and EU Drivers’ Hours rules.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to drivers and mates to maximise vehicle and manpower utilisation.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and training is provided as needed.
• Plan daily transport with Paragon and optimise routes and costs.
• Maintain inductions, records and training requirements for staff.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment comply with laws and company policy.
• Produce transport statistics for internal/external use.
