Nicholas Associates Group Limited in Scunthorpe is seeking a Stock Controller to join a busy, growing team. You will oversee inventory management, maintain accurate stock records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate movements to support production and logistics.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, Warehouse Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience within the steel industry is preferred but not essential.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports.
• Monitor stock levels and investigate discrepancies.
• Process stock movements and update internal systems.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts.
• Liaise with warehouse, production, and transport teams.
• Support goods-in and goods-out processes.
• Complete administrative duties relating to stock control.
• Produce reports using Excel and other stock management systems.
• Ensure all stock is stored and managed safely and efficiently.

The Role
