Job summary

Focus Resourcing Group is recruiting a Stock Controller / Assembly Technician for a busy workshop in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The role combines stock control, stores support and component assembly in a practical, hands-on environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in stock control or production settings, be computer literate and able to follow detailed processes, and enjoy working as part of a proactive team. This is a permanent, on-site role with negotiable terms.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, stores, assembly, warehouse or production environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident following instructions and technical processes.
• Computer literate and comfortable updating systems.

Responsibilities

• Assembling parts and components to required specifications.
• Inspecting completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintaining and replenishing stock levels.
• Picking and issuing parts for workshop technicians.
• Supporting stores operations during busy periods and holidays.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding parts and deliveries.
• Carrying out stock checks and cycle counting.
• Replenishing workshop consumables.
