  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment, including stock control.
  • Counterbalance Forklift License is required.

Job description

The postholder will be responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, management of processes and systems in order to ensure parts are received and dispatched appropriately and that productivity targets are met.

Stock Control
  • Maintaining warehouse and stores operations;
  • Processing incoming/outgoing orders, part transfers, returns and customer warranty, ensuring that delivery deadlines are met;
  • Administering stock control to ensure accurate records are maintained;
  • Operating IT systems;
  • Responding to customer enquiries;
  • Liaising with the Service Manager and Planner regarding daily activities for the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, inventory discrepancies, space management, logistics, shipping and customer service;
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation;
  • Daily forklift checks to be performed and other ad-hoc warehouse equipment as necessary;
  • Loading and unloading parts/goods;
  • Oversee and assist logistics utilised to transport parts to customers, communicating with engineers to ensure efficient service is achieved;
  • General housekeeping e.g. keeping stores and warehouse clean and tidy.

  • Counterbalance Forklift License.

This post is based in Eglish. 40 hours per week.
