Tandem Recruitment Group is seeking a Stock Controller in Wellingborough to receive, handle and despatch equipment and goods across multiple sites. A valid driver's license is required for this multi-site role.

The role involves stock checking, labeling, placing items, and creating purchase orders using the stock control system, with day shifts (Days) and a basic salary of £29,419.21.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and checking of physical goods against documentation, and processing within the stock control system
• Catalogue and label items with storage details
• Place inspected goods into correct locations
• Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate list
• Create purchase orders using stock control system and distribute to the relevant supplier.
• Keep track of outstanding purchase orders and progress with suppliers as needed
• Carry out stock checks and cycle counts
• Produce claim notes for incorrect quantities/goods
• Control internal department stock movements
• Assist in the Logistics department if cover is required.

Role Overview

Our client is looking for a Stock Controller to receive, handle and despatch equipment and goods coming into, or going out of, either the main warehouse facility or either of their manufacturing facilities. This is a multi-site role so a valid drivers license is required.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Stock Controller:

• Receipt and checking of physical goods against documentation, and processing within the stock control system
• Catalogue and label items with storage details
• Place inspected goods into correct locations
• Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate list
• Create purchase orders using stock control system and distribute to the relevant supplier.
• Keep track of outstanding purchase orders and where necessary progress directly with the supplier.
• Carry out stock checks and cycle counts.
• Produce claim notes for incorrect quantities/goods.
• Control internal department stock movements.
• Assist in the Logistics department if cover is required.

Requirements

To be successful as a Stock Controller you will have:
