Connect Appointments is recruiting a Stock Controller for a large logistics and warehousing operation based in Leven, Scotland. The role focuses on stock accuracy and resolving discrepancies rather than merely recording them.

You will carry out daily stock checks, investigate variances, coordinate with warehouse teams on stock movements, and maintain records to support customs and compliance. Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm with early finish on Fridays; salary is competitive and full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Forklift truck licence is essential.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; accurate data entry and reporting.
• Clear communication and a team-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Carry out and verify daily stock checks; ensure cycle counts are completed.
• Investigate discrepancies, losses and gains; document outcomes.
• Liaise with warehouse teams on stock movements and resolve receipt/dispatch issues.
• Trace missing stock; process damages, destruction, and cage maintenance.
• Maintain stock records; support customs and compliance controls.

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Stock Controller for a large logistics and warehousing operation based in Leven.

Our client runs a high-volume distribution site where stock accuracy sits at the centre of the operation. This is a role for someone who likes getting to the bottom of a discrepancy rather than just recording it.

As a Stock Controller, your duties will include:

• Carrying out and verifying daily stock checks, and making sure cycle counts are processed
• Investigating discrepancies, losses and gains, and documenting the outcome
• Liaising with warehouse teams on stock movements and resolving receipt, dispatch and relocation issues
• Tracing missing stock and processing damages, destruction’s and cage maintenance
• Maintaining stock records and supporting customs and compliance controls

To be considered as a Stock Controller, you will need:

• Previous stock control experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• A valid forklift truck licence
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems
• A keen eye for detail and confident use of Microsoft Office
• Clear communication skills and a team-focused approach
