Job summary

Culina Group Limited at Crick is seeking a Stock Controller to join a busy warehouse team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Stock and Systems Manager, you will help maintain stock integrity and support the Receipt/Despatch processes.

The role operates 4 on 4 off, 6am–6pm shifts with an hourly rate of £13.96. Previous stock control experience is essential, and good communication and attention to detail are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous stock controller experience is essential.
• Flexibility within the role to cover all areas of the stock department functionality.
• A high level of detail is required.
• Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
• Team player who can also work on own initiative.
• In-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend and rework accordingly.
• Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
• Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first.
• Hold and Release process.
• Assist in the management of the pallet database.
• Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
• Completion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control and samples.

Job Description

Our Crick site have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our friendly team on a full time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Stock and Systems Manager, the Stock Controller is to play a vital role in maintaining the stock integrity within the warehouse.

Working hours

4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.

Salary

£13.96 per hour.
