Job summary

Warrens is seeking reliable MHE Operatives to join our Crick site within a busy ambient warehouse operation. You will help keep products moving safely, accurately and efficiently through the warehouse.

This role suits candidates with forklift experience who can operate reach trucks and PPTs, support loading, inbound and stock movement activity, and perform routine vehicle and safety checks on the 4 on 4 off night shift (18:00–06:00).

Qualifications

• Forklift experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• Reach Truck experience is advantageous.
• In-house licences may be accepted if you have practical experience.
• Strong focus on safe working practices and attention to detail.
• Reliable, flexible and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE safely, including reach trucks and PPT equipment.
• Support movement, replenishment and put-away of stock.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks per standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems to maintain stock accuracy.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team to keep operations moving.

Job Description

We are looking for reliable and motivated MHE Operatives to join Warrens at our Crick site joining a busy ambient warehouse operation. Working across our Bread and Cake Distribution sites, you will play a key role in keeping products moving safely, accurately and efficiently through the warehouse.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous MHE experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment and are confident operating equipment such as reach trucks and PPTs, while supporting loading, inbound and stock movement activity.

Shift pattern

4 on 4 off Nights from 18:00 - 06:00

Salary

£14.70 per hour plus £1.47 per hour shift allowance

What you'll be doing

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and PPT equipment where required.
• Support the movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity while following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks in line with operational standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems accurately to help maintain stock integrity.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team to keep the operation moving at pace.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience within a warehouse, logistics or distribution setting.
• Reach Truck forklift experience is required is advantageous
• In-house licences from previous employers can be considered, provided you have relevant practical experience.
• A strong focus on safe working practices and attention to detail.
• A reliable, flexible and team-focused approach.
• Availability to work a 4 on 4 Nightshift pattern
