Job summary

Culina is seeking a Stock Controller for the Chilled & Fresh division in the UK. The role is full time and permanent, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (6am–6pm) and a salary of £13.96 per hour.

You will liaise with management and operations to ensure accurate loads, maintain stock integrity, and handle short shipments with diligence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous stock controller experience is essential.
• Ability to work to daily targets with accuracy and speed.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good communication and collaborative team skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management to ensure accurate received and despatched loads.

Job Description

Life in this role

As part of our Chilled & Fresh division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Stock Controller on a full time permanent basis.

Salary: £13.96 per hour.

Shift: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.

Key Duties of a Stock Controller:

• Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend and rework accordingly.
• Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
• Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first.
• Hold and Release process.
• Assist in the management of the pallet database.
• Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
• Completion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control and samples.

Qualifications

• Previous stock controller experience is essential.
• Flexibility within the role to cover all areas of the stock department functionality.
• Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
• Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
• Team player who can also work on own initiative.
• In-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
